It’s been a wild spring semester for NYU’s Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter. We started off the year strong with receiving our charter, becoming yet again NY GAMMA.
The information was well-received while our executive board was learning and connecting with other nationwide chapters at the Carlson Leadership Academy.
We spent the rest of the semester awarding the Balanced Man Scholarship to three exceptional finalists at our banquet and volunteering with fellow NYU sororities: reading at local elementary schools, making sandwiches at The Bowery Mission, and more.
Our semester was unfortunately cut short because of
COVID-19 and its effect on the world, especially New York City.
Despite this, we will continue to conduct weekly chapters, mentorship meetings, and challenge meetings in an orderly manner, though they will now be done virtually and remotely. Long live New York Gamma!
